The location is a significant highlight, being just a short walk from the train station and near the ferry pier, perfect for exploring the waterfront. A spacious room with a stunning lake view made our stay enjoyable, especially while we savored sweet cakes at nearby cafes. However, the cleanliness left something to be desired, as the floors appeared neglected during our stay. Additionally, the shower was cramped and the noise from the street was distracting at night.

The room lacked curtains, making it difficult to sleep with bright outside lights. Parking options are limited and costly, along with some dated elements in room maintenance, including dirty carpets and a musty smell in the bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Splendid, with stunning lake views and a charming atmosphere. The bathroom was smaller than expected.

Exceptional views and delightful staff

Woke up to breathtaking views of Lake Geneva, enjoyed friendly service from Mr Yvan, and indulged in delicious omelets. The ambiance with lovely décor made breakfast a pleasure every morning.

The toilet situation was quite awkward, sharing space right under the sink in a small bathroom. A fan was provided, but without AC, warm nights were a challenge.

Had a great time at Hotel Splendid! The views of Lake Geneva from our room were incredible, and the location was unbeatable for exploring Montreux. The staff really made our stay special, especially David with his recommendations. Just a bit warm at night without A/C.

While the hotel is charming overall, the carpets in the common areas could use a thorough cleaning as they appeared quite worn and in need of attention.

Had an epic five-night stay! The room was spacious, with incredible views of Lake Geneva and a southern exposure. Close to loads of fab restaurants like Brasserie Du Nouveau Metropole and Restaurant Au Parc, making every meal an adventure. The staff were super helpful, enhancing our culinary explorations.

Amazing views and great vibes

The room we had was awesome, super comfy, and we loved the lake view! David from the front desk was incredibly helpful, giving us tips on where to eat and explore. The breakfast spread was decent, but could use a bit more variety. It did get a bit warm at night without AC, though.
